As added protection for drivers and riders, Modesto Area Express (MAX) now has hand sanitizer stations and plastic driver barriers on all vehicles! The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least sixty percent alcohol (also referred to as ethanol or ethyl alcohol) when soap and water are not available.
Please keep your youngest riders away from the hand sanitizers. Very small amounts of hand sanitizer can be toxic to young children if ingested.
